Awantipora, June 14 (KNO) : Two militants were killed in an encounter in Banduna village of Awantipora area of Pulwama encounter on Friday. An official confirmed to KNO that two militants have been killed during exchange of fire. Two dead bodies along with ammunition have been recovered from the spot and their identification is being ascertained, he said Earlier a joint team of forces including 55 RR, CRPF and SoG launched search operation in the area after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area. As forces zeroed in towards suspected spot hiding militants fired upon forces triggering an encounter, official said.(KNO)
